"The New Entrance" Cave

We took the New Entrance Tour. We walked down a narrow set of stairs straight down. Once into the cave we walked down stairs that spiraled down about 250 feet. At the bottom we entered a large room called Grand Central Station. Then we started making our way back up the cave, weaving in and out of other smaller rooms. At the end of the tour we saw the Frozen Niagara.

Reuben totally hit his head going into this portion of the cave and got a huge knot on his head as a souvenir.

After caving in the morning we went back to the cabin. We spent the afternoon swimming and playing putt-putt. We hung out around the campgrounds. That evening we went to the main facilities. There was a band playing in the field getting set up for the fireworks. The band was the worst I'd ever heard. We all laid out on sheets in the middle of the field. The fireworks were great. The kids all enjoyed watching the fireworks.
