My Favorite Book

I love this book. The pictures are beautiful. When I was in college I did a unit of study using this book. We did Venn diagrams on the differences and similarities of birds and bats. We also looked at non-fiction books to learn facts about bats. There are also other great books by Janell Cannon.

Looking back at old posts

Evan, Logan and I spent the evening looking back at old blog posts. The boys enjoyed looking at all the things we did last year. Evan's favorite pictures to look at were from our trip to Florida. He loved the beach and swimming. Logan's favorite thing was "all of them on there". My favorite thing is to see how much the boys grow each year. I am so glad I started this blog to document our adventures.

Illness :(

We made it through most of the winter with very little illness. At the end of February Evan got a stomach virus. Then came an ear infection and pink eye for Logan. Now I'm at home sick with the flu. Is it even possible to get through one winter with out getting sick?

Well I went to the doctor today and found out I have a sinus infection. Great. At least I got an antibiotic that should take care of it.

I'm so tired of wet and cold. I can't wait for spring. Changing my blog background put me in a better mood. I hope to see the sun shinning soon.

The Basement Flooded!!!

We have had trouble before with our family room floor getting wet. It's always just been a little bit around the fireplace. This time the water soaked the carpet out into the middle of the room. We have stripped everything away so we can hopefully find the root of the problem and fix it for good this time.
