knock knock

Logan is such a funny little boy. It has been so much fun having him at home with me while Evan is at school. He says the funniest things. Right now he loves to hear and tell knock knock jokes. He has such a good memory. He can remember jokes that Reuben has told him and he will tell them to me at the most random times. Then he just cracks up laughing at himself.

Today he's in rare form hopped up on sweet tarts and orange crush.

I Finally Got My Piano!

My parents told me a long time ago that I could have my piano any time I wanted it. Well I finally stopped waiting for the best time the best place and asked to get the piano moved to my house. I new that once I had it I would wish that I had gotten it a long time ago. It definitely needs to be tuned. But I have already enjoyed playing it. Monday afternoon when Logan was at preschool I played for an hour and a half. The time just flew by. I can't wait to share my love for playing the piano with my boys.

Crafting

Last Saturday my mom, my sister and I got together to do some projects. We made "presents" from glass cubes, etched glass casserole pans, and made floral magnets for the kids teachers. We all felt very productive getting all of our projects done.

I wanted to make a pearl necklace. I used one of Lindsey's necklaces for inspiration.

Scary!!!

Debbie wanted us to see a house that she had seen on her way to work that was decorated for Halloween. A few days before Halloween we took the boys to see the house. The house was decorated with lots of characters from scary movies. There was a sign on the mailbox that invited people to walk around their yard to see all the "decorations". The boys were funny to watch. They walked around looking at all the characters but didn't get too close.

October 31, 2010 Happy Halloween!

Trick-o-treating at Mema's house.

Evan was Iron Man, Logan was Aang from Avatar-The Last Airbender, Kylie was a cowgirl, and Cami was a cheerleader.

Halloween 2010

We carved our pumpkins at my sister's house on Saturday.

Lindsey's neighborhood celebrated Halloween on the 30th. We spent the afternoon hanging out and then stayed to go trick-o-treating with the girls. The Ringhands were characters from Alice in Wonderland.

Lakota Craft Show

Mom and I took the boys to the craft show this weekend. It's been a few years sense I last went to the show. It has doubled in size. I picked up a pendent with my initial on it. The boys found a jewelry maker that made her own beads. She had lots of halloween beads like candy corns, ghost, scull and cross bones. The boys love halloween. The lady was very patient with the boys and actually took some of her beads and made pendants and put them on a rope necklace for them. There are so many people making jewelry now. Lots of team spirit jewelry, glass beads, and lots of other varieties. Then Evan found bow and arrows made of PVC pipe. Grandma bought each of them one.

I have to say the boys were pretty good shoppers. Logan started whining about being tired toward the end. We bought some snacks then headed home.
