We went out to the farm for one more camp out before school started again. I talked Lindsey and her family into going with us.

Our neighbors became fast friends when they moved here three years ago. Mohamed, Lily and Shakeel are a wonderful family that we all have enjoyed getting to know. Mohamed is in the Army. So their family moves often. They are now heading to Utah.

We shared birthdays and other celebrations together. We mostly enjoyed sitting around a bonfire listening to each others stories. It won't be the same without them.

My grandma and I share the same first initial E. Over the years my grandma has given me some very special gifts. She has given me a handkerchief, a ring, and now a locket. I treasure these gifts. It is nice to have some sentimental items to remind me how much I love my grandma and how much I know she loves me.

My grandma is such a strong and caring woman. I look up to her in so many ways. Thank you grandma.

Bradley Parker Ringhand

Bradley Parker Ringhand was born Wednesday morning at 6:52 a.m. on July 13, 2011. He weighed 7lbs. 6oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long.

Camping and Boating

Chad and Jacque invited us to go camping this weekend to hang out and to celebrate Kylie's birthday. We all had so much fun the boys didn't want to leave.

It's always a lot of work to prepare to go camping. I decided I need to type up a list of supplies that I need so that I have it the next time we go camping. There is always something I wish I had brought with me.

We got to the camp site on Friday evening. We set up camp and hung out the rest of the night. On Saturday we got up early and ate a big breakfast. Then we went out on the boat. We fished for a little while but the kids were anxious to get in the water. The kids went tubing for a bit then we swam. Around lunch time we headed back to the dock to pick up Mema and Papa. Then back out on the water. We all had so much fun out on the boat. I think we had the most laughs watching everyone take a turn going down the slide off the boat. It was especially funny watching David go down the slide with a dry belly. He went down head first and when his belly hit the slide he stuck like glue and did a sort of flip/cartwheel the rest of the way down.

We headed back to camp around dinner time. We made dinner, showered and hung out. We went down to the front office and ate ice cream and brownies and sang happy birthday to Kylie. The boys and I were pretty tired and headed to bed early. Reuben asked Evan if he wanted to get up early the next morning and see if they could catch a fish. And of course he said YES. Half way through the night Evan woke up to a truck driving through the camp ground. He sat up and said, "Is it time to go fishing?" So when the sun came up Evan was up and ready to go fishing with the guys. While they were fishing all of the girls + Logan broke down camp. We started early before it got too hot. It only took us a couple of hours and we had everything loaded up. While we were packing up we got a text with a picture of Evan holding the big bass he caught. He was so proud.

It was a wonderful weekend hanging out with our family. Thanks Chad and Jacque for inviting us to go along. We will have to do it again.
